Easter

We had a wonderful sunny Easter weekend.  Saturday we took the boys to a park to ride their  bikes and to get ready for the Easter egg hunt.  Mimi and Papa showed up and the boys went on the hunt for eggs.  We went to the Garden Home Rec Center again this year for their spring egg hunt and it was great.  The boys totally got the hang of it this year and they both collected a ton of eggs and even got 2 special prizes.  After that we went to lunch at Thirsty Lion and then headed downtown to enjoy the beautiful sunny Portland afternoon.  We weren't the only ones with that idea....half the city was out and about.  We got some ice cream and wondered around and then headed back home.  Sunday morning the boys got up and were thrilled to go through their Easter baskets.  It was like Christmas around here.  After opening their toys they had a mini Easter egg hunt around the house and then we had a nice brunch.  It was playtime after that both here and at the park.  Jeff came over late in the afternoon and we had a fun dinner.  It was a perfect day!
